Fellows, the newsletter, is the brainchild of the JU-SYLFF Association. The first issue of this newsletter was launched in 2005 in the presence of Mr. Yohei Sasakawa, President of the Nippon Foundation, His Excellency Mr. Gopal Krishna Gandhi, Chancellor of JU, Professor A.N. Basu, the then Vice Chancellor and other distinguished guests.

The newsletter showcases the interdisciplinary approach adopted by the SYLFF scholars in their areas of work.  It aims to create a space for interaction and exchange of ideas between the SYLFF scholars at JU and the readers. The newsletter also contains articles by visiting fellows from other SYLFF institutes.
